Description

The compositions are pieces dedicated to the celestial phenomena and program music of the finest quality. The first, ‘Sole e Luna’, unites two celestial bodies with one another and, by means of frequently changing times and sometimes in unison, sometimes imitating one another and sometimes strongly contrasting, traces the different characters of the sun and moon. The two solo instruments describe the area of tension. ‘Stella’ and ‘Meteora’ have a melodically flowing character. In both cases, the orchestra has a much stronger creative role.
