The composition, from 1989, exhausts the possibilities of the instruments (extreme registers, various effects). It is predominantly in the homophonic sentence technique preferred by Steffen, which in the sound dialogue often leads to the merging of the two instruments into a sonorous unity of extreme homogeneity.
