Marianne Verpoest

was born in 1958 in Antwerp. In 1991, she completed her studies of the mandolin at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Antwerp and won first prizes in the fields of chamber music, musical theory and harmonica. In the following years she attended courses with Professor V. Hladky, Professor Marga Wilden-Hüsgen, Keith Harris and others.
