Ludwig Helten

Ludwig Helten studied violin, musicology, musical theory, composition and ethnomusicologie.
He was mainly a music teacher. In addition, he led some choirs and was the director of several plucking orchestras. For many of his compositions he was inspired by the direction of the “Rheinisches Zupforchester”, which he has developed for over 30 years until 2007. Ludwig Helten died on 30 August 2016 in the Willich-Schiefbahn.
