Frank Scheuerle

Frank Scheuerle studied mandolin with Keith David Harris and guitar with Jörg Wagner at the Music University of Heidelberg-Mannheim. He is a state-certified teacher of both instruments, and graduated in 1998 as a mandolin performer with the result “very good”.
He currently teaches mandolin and guitar at the Music Academy of Villingen-Schwenningen, and at the music school in Schramberg, He also conducts two mandolin orchestras.
He has toured extensively as an orchestral and chamber musician, and also as soloist and conductor, throughout Japan, Australia, North America and across Europe. He is guest mandolinist with the Collegium Novum in Zurich, with the Zurich Opera and the Freiburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
