Antonio Salieri

Antonio Salieri was born on August 18th, 1750 in Legnano (near Venice) and died on May 7th, 1825 in Vienna. He moved to Vienna as early as 1766 and achieved great fame as the imperial court conductor, composer, teacher and conductor of Italian opera. His students include: Beethoven, Hummel, Liszt and Schubert.
